This online engineering CPD webinar will present a detailed introduction to the AC Electrical Motors Fundamentals.
This webinar will discuss the basics of Two Speed Motors, Motor Temperature Rating, Locked Rotor Code Letters, Reduced Voltage Starting Method and Understanding Torque. This course will provide the basic knowledge to Engineers, Managers and Company Executives working in the industry while selecting and Operating Electrical AC Motors. This course will help Engineers to professionally and competently discuss characteristics of AC Motors with the Motor or Equipment Manufacturer.
Three Phase AC Induction Motors are the most widely used motors in industrial and commercial applications. According to the US Department of Energy (DOE), Electric Motors consume more than 50% of all Electrical Energy in the United States and more than 85% of Industrial production electrical energy.
This 2 CPD webinar is intended for electrical, chemical, and mechanical engineers, as well as design, construction, Facility Management and Executive personnel.

We recommend that you connect to the webinar approximately 10 to 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Following attending the webinar, you need to return to the CEDengineering.ca website and log in to your account to complete and submit the feedback form. Once submitted, we will email you your Certificate of Completion. You can also download it instantly, or at anytime, from your account where all your CPD records are kept for your convenience at all times.
