Some roundabout features are uniform, while others vary depending on the location and size of the roundabout. Roundabout design is an iterative process, in which small changes in geometry can result in substantial changes to operational and safety performance. This presentation will detail design considerations specific to multilane roundabouts, rural roundabouts, and mini roundabouts.
